The TomTom for moped and car

I am a fan of navigation systems as I am having a quite very bad sense of orientation. My Citroen is currently equipped with a JVC system integrated in the car radio.

I have to admit, sound isn’t bad, but the maps and the software are pretty old - the main problem of it all.

Usually I’d just buy a new navigation cd for my system and things would be fine if the cds wouldn’t be that expensive. The new cd would cost as much as a whole navigation system.

The solution is surprisingly simple: Do you remember my Road Trip? I got me the TomTom Rider II in Melk, which is currently mounted on my moped. But did you know that TomTom sells car mounting kits for that system too? 70 EUR and we’re running again.

The big plus of this way is, that I am using the same navigation system everywhere now - and the software updates and maps are only needed once.
